I. Analysis and treatment method of fault phenomenon causes
1. After the coil is energized, the contactor does not act or acts innormally
A. The coil control circuit is disconnected; see whether the wiring terminal is broken or loose. If there is a break, replace the corresponding wire.If loose, deftighten the corresponding terminals.
b. The coil is damaged; measure the resistance of the coil with a multimeter. If the resistance is, replace the coil.
c. The thermal relay is not reset after the action.Use the multimeter resistance gear to measure the resistance value between the two constant closing points of the heat relay, such as it is, then press the reset button of the heat relay.
d. The rated coil voltage is higher than the line voltage.Change the coil adapted to the control line voltage.
e. Contact spring pressure or release spring pressure is too large.Adjust the spring pressure or replace the spring.

2. After the coil is powered off, the contactor will not be released or delayed for release.
A. The column in the magnetic system has no air gap, and the remaining magnetic field is too large.Remove a part of the pole surface at the remaining magnetic gap so that the gap is 0.1~0.3mm, or have a 0.1uF capacitor in parallel at both ends of the coil.
b. The surface of the activated contact core is oil or greasy after a period of use.Wipe the rust grease on the core surface, the core surface should be flat, but should not be too light, otherwise it is easy to cause delay release.
c. Contact anti-melting welding performance is poor. When the motor or line is short circuit, the high current makes the touch.The head is firmly welded and cannot be released, and the pure silver contact is easier to melt welding.The main contact of the AC contactor should be selected with a silver-based alloy with strong melting and welding resistance, such as silver and iron, silver and nickel, etc.
d. Correct the control wiring error according to the control wiring diagram.
Three, the coil overheating, burned or damaged.
A. The frequency and power rate of the ring exceed the technical requirements of the product.Replace the coil for frequency and power continuity.
b. The core surface is uneven or the column air gap is too large.Clean the pole surface or adjust the core, and replace the coil.
The c, mechanical damage, the movement part is stuck.Repair the mechanical parts and replace the coil.
d. If the ambient temperature is too high, or the coil insulation is damaged because the air is wet or the gas is corrosive, replace the coil.
Four, the electromagnet noise is too large.
A. Short circuit ring breaks and replace the short circuit ring or core
b. The contact spring pressure is too large, or if the contact travels too much, adjust the spring contact pressure or reduce the overstroke.
c. The connection pin between the armature and the mechanical part is loose, or the clamp screw is loose. Install the connection pin and tighten the clamp screw.
Five, alternate short circuit
A. The contactor accumulates too much dust or sticks with water and gas. The oil scale makes the insulation damage. The contactor should be often cleaned up, kept, clean and dry.
In b. With the electrical interlocking only, the switching time of the reversible conversion contactor is shorter than the combustion arc time.Add the mechanical interlocks.
In c. If the arc hood breaks, or the contactor parts are damaged by the arc, or replace the damaged parts.

The running AC contactor is very noisy and can be treated as follows:
1. If the voltage of the power supply is insufficient and the suction of the electromagnet is not enough, we should try to increase the voltage of the operating circuit.
2. If the magnetic system is improperly assembled or shaken or the machine piece is stuck, the iron core cannot be flattened, resulting in noise.This system should be adjusted to identify and eliminate the causes of the flexibility.
3. Polar surface rust or foreign body (such as oil scale, dust, hair, etc.) into the core surface, then the core surface should be cleaned.
4. Electromagnet noise is generated due to the excessive contact spring pressure, so usually adjust the contact spring pressure.
5. In case of noise arising from short circuit ring fracture, the core or short circuit ring should be replaced.
6. If the core pole surface wear is excessive and uneven, the core should be replaced.
7. Short circuit between the turns, usually replace the coil.
