Schneider Electric Launches Upgraded LC1D18M7 220V AC Contactor for Industrial Motor Control

Schneider Electric has officially released the upgraded LC1D18M7 AC contactor under the well-known TeSys D series, bringing higher stability to medium-duty motor control circuits worldwide. The new model is fitted with a 220V AC control coil, targeting factory automation, HVAC, water pump and mechanical equipment markets across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

As a 3-pole electromagnetic contactor with three normally open main contacts, LC1D18M7 carries a rated working current of 18A under AC-3 category up to 440V. It can stably drive 7.5kW three-phase motors at 380V power supply, fully meeting the mainstream demand of small and medium-sized power control panels. The M7 code stands for the 220V 50/60Hz AC coil, which fits perfectly with common civil and industrial control circuits without extra voltage conversion.

Compared with older generations, this updated contactor adopts silver alloy contacts and optimized arc extinguishing structure. Its mechanical service life reaches more than 10 million switching cycles, greatly reducing maintenance frequency on continuous production lines
