Military contactors

Military contactors refer to the ability to provide a variety of relay solutions for high reliability and space environments.Aviation and aerospace products were originally manufactured as relays according to the established QPL and MIL standard specifications, and then customized according to the customer’s specific application requirements. This benefits from dust-free room construction, highly controlled processes, tracking and serializing data, quality audit throughout the production cycle, and a wide range of products.
The aviation DC relay has a single coil around the core to make the electromagnet. When the coil is energized, the resulting magnetism is stable because the current is continuous.Once the current is cut and the core is no longer magnetized, the spring-loaded lever returns to a relaxed position and its contacts switch to its original position.
Military contactor characteristics
A space relay is a single-loop contact arrangement indicating a connection of one position, or another connection of a common state.Industrial relays are used in production lines, robots, elevators, control panels, CNC machine tools, motion control systems, lighting, building systems, solar energy, HVAC, and a range of safety-critical applications.
The military high-voltage switchgear portfolio also includes light, small, and efficient AC and DC contactors for aerospace, commercial, and military power systems. These contactors have a variety of contact configurations, current / voltage ratings, auxiliary contact configuration, and installation methods. We provide the technical experience, knowledge and ability to help our clients meet demanding requirements.
DC contactors generally used in these industries are light and environmentally friendly (gasket) sealed. The sealed housing can be used for some of the worst environmental conditions or elevation above 50,000 feet.Provides multiple primary contact configurations and secondary contact configurations. The AC and DC contactors shall be designed to meet the applicable requirements of the MILPRF-6106 and / or specific customer specifications.
This is the difference between military contactor characteristics and general civil contactors
